Hello, and Welcome!

OK, gonna do my typical stream-of-consciousness ramble here...  If you've received a phone message from me, you'll know exactly what I mean.

This is my first blog post.  I'm not even sure I want to blog, or why I would blog, but some of my friends do, and I like their blog posts, and it seems fun - especially for someone like me, who truly enjoys writing and is very comfortable doing so.

I've got something to say (or do I?!?) and I am saying it!!!  (or not...)

Here are a few things I do know:
 - I've done this (worked as a greeting card sales rep, that is) for a long time (more than 10 years - like, WAY more) and I've learned a lot about people and business along the way.  (And about myself, too!)
 - I really enjoy my work -- just about every aspect of it.  Really!
 - In addition to enjoying my work, I believe my work (and my life) has value - and not just to me.
